Meet Veronica

Veronica Matlock is a mother of two and wife of Dr. David Matlock. She is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner whose passion is working with underserved communities locally and abroad. Prior to completing graduate school, she worked as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Loma Linda University Medical Center.

One of her favorite pastimes is traveling abroad for tourism and as a medical volunteer. The knowledge and understanding that is gained from exposure to other cultures is what continues to fuel this passion of hers. Some of her favorite destinations include: Dubai, Singapore, Tahiti, Paris, London, and South Africa.

Looking good and maintaining a healthy lifestyle are also of upmost importance. To maintain her physique, she does circuit training and cardio four days a week. Veronica sticks to a diet that is high in protein and vegetables while allowing for small amounts of healthy carbs as well. She is a firm believer in the notion that “looking good means feeling good.”
